My Greek Reality

The inspiration for this series stems from our family’s photo album from the '80s, a collection of moments from a time when life seemed simpler, carefree and almost naive, contrasting with the complexity and uncertainty of our days at this moment.

In today’s fast-paced world, shaped by shifting values and evolving systems, we often find ourselves overwhelmed by events that feel beyond our control. This dissonance invites us to reflect on our collective awareness, and on how we engage—or sometimes disengage—from the challenges that we choose to face.

The recurring environmental and social crises of recent years revaluate the meaning of hope. What does it mean to hope in times like these? And when we do find hope, what responsibilities come with it?

These questions naturally lead us to explore how we understand the deeper causes behind the issues we face. Our perspective influence the way we think, relate, and respond.

The choice of medium reflects the way screens construct a version of reality that can feel both intimate and detached.
